I believe this factory is in Poland - at least that is where the stickers on the seats on my 2009 Mini say they were made.

So for those interested in modern production control, making seats just-in-time in a factory 1,000 miles from the Oxford Mini plant seems quite a feat. The Countryman assembly plant in Austria seems almost local by comparison.

And the assembly of this 'sports' specification seat shows why they offer so little support in corners - there is nothing in the thigh bolsters but foam. So sports appearance, but not sports function
