Wow that shift knob and e-brake handle look awesome in your mini! Was the e-brake handle hard to put on? I can't get a shift knob since I have an automatic...

BTW, To keep on-topic I think I've spent about 1000 on both of my Mini's...mostly on keeping the classic going...or rather stopping since both the front and rear brakes went out and also had to get a water pump. Need new suspension for her now...

I love my MINI and I really don't car how much I put into him just as long as it keeps increasing in fun.

No sweat on the eBrake handle install. Cassidy's site has some very good and detailed instructions. Do get a set of plastic pry bars (Harbor Freight ~$6) to insure you don't mar the boot cover plate when you remove it. Took me less than 15min. BTW, I heard a rumor that he's working on a knob design for the automatic. Cross your fingers as I'm super pleased with what I got from him.

True words. For what it's worth, more mods doesn't strictly mean more fun, so choose wisely [or learn from our mistakes!]

This poll made my wallet reminisce...painfully. :eek:ut: We're all a little bit insane, you know.

So, when is there going to be a poll dedicated to the MINI related collectibles that we all have as well...we all know what we spend on the cars...what about what we spend that don't get put onto the cars??? This includes clothing...

When I look at what my mods have cost me in Canadian Dollars...at least I have been lucky to have had some people hook my up with some VERY good bargains over the years:Thumbsup:

If I list what I should have spent...vs what I DID spend...then it bumps me to the next level:p

I've spent less than $1k on mods. Quite a bit less, but plan on moving up those ranks some eventually.

I had a good mod plan... now I've run completely through it... and have started taking off perfectly good mod parts to replace them with other "betterer" mod parts. Just because I can't stop. Ever. Need. Help.

But my new 17% pulley rocks way harder than my old 15% pulley. Seriously.

Yeah, if I had an 'a' I would have the 17%, you just need more lower.

Yup. That's what I decided after much thought and weighing of the pros and cons.

Wheels, 4 sets of tires, brake rotors, brake pads, brake fluid, trans fluid.

I actually am gonna spend more on replacing front hub/wheels bearings soon along with some "happy noise" mods in the next few months. It's still gonna leave me under $5k though.

I don't know how I missed this thread/poll the first time. I've now got indigestion after adding up the cost of my mods....thanks Nathan :incazzato:

I was just thinking about this thread the other day since I started modding again.

I will have to check, but I still am under $5K.
In about a month I will break that mark

i don't look at it as modding. I prefer to think of it as a service to my fellow enthusiasts to purchase their leftovers so they can continue to spend more on their own car.
