How much have you spent modding that MINI?

I might be in another MINI :lol:

 

I marked 10-20K, but after really thinking about it, it is over $20K. Wheels and tires alone were over $3K :frown2:

 

How much did I really spend, or how much did I tell my wife it costs? She still thinks it only costs 10.00 to go golfing.:lol:

I often wonder what the going rate is for ones first born? Only because I think I have already spent that much in mods.

Power, Speed and reliablity does not come cheap but it is well worth every penny.

As the saying goes, "You have to pay to play" and I like to play hard.

as much as I love modding, at some point, you're better off buying a bigger/faster/better car. That said, there isn't a better MINI than a MINI so.....

 

I think this is a subject that is best not spoken of.

 

im under a grand right now but by the time its done it will be over 20k

 

If I don't go crazy, I'll end up in the +10K range I suspect.

 

How do detailing supplies fit into this? Because if they are included, my numbers go way up:crazy:.

This just occurred to me. We bought our '06 JCW just about fully optioned. Sticker came to about $38K. Base price for an S was about $24k. I started out $14k in the modding hole to begin with. :cryin:

 

So does that mean a justa starts out with a credit for modding:idea:

Money For Mods

$2k for performance mods and (I'm ashamed to say) $1k for Eye Candy/Bling as the kids say. I didn't even realize how much that I had spent until Nathan brought it up. :eek6::frown2: Thanks Nathan. But ya know, Mini Margi is well worth it. Most fun car that I've ever owned. Jason

 

all I have right now is wheels but I got coilovers coming next month as well as upgrading the brakes and HID kit in August
