Need to sell my MINI and buy a MINI with a manual trans. Anyone have any idea how much I should ask? r50 W/ almost 90k on the engine and almost 150k on everything else New tires Just installed - Koni Sport yellow struts and powerflex control arm bushings. Paint is 9/10 and interior is 8/10 I have pics in my garage.
As for how much look it up in NADA and compare you local listings on autotrader. But since an R50 with an auto isn't going to get an enthusiast buyer I would save the Konis for the next car. Selling the car with less expensive stock type struts and selling the Konis would get you more money, assuming you can swap them yourself.
KBB probably says it's only worth alittle over $3000. Why the sudden urge to get a manual after just spending money on this car? ( Konis install, tire etc. ) No biggie to me but something I'd ask if looking...
Good move. Go to eBay's commpleted items to see what cars like yours have sold (or not sold) for. Then check KBB.com and edmunds.com.
If you can afford to buy the Mini with a manual trans before you sale yours then you could swap the parts.
well the transmission has started to seem like it's slipping and when the mechanic who did my work test drove it he said it seems to slip in reverse.
I'm about to, this mechanic is pissing me off actually, but that's a different story. going to get tranny flush and fill and pray
