Also when he finally completes the calendar every month will have only 28 days except for February.

That's one's too good to waste on Barry. A stick man card with "Marry Krissmas Berry" is more appropriate.

Its just too bad that MC2 has no competition. If it did it would probably be

    in the toilet by now.

He stays in business because people ARE slow to change. They STILL believe Barry will somehow right his ship of fools, so they blindly support him. He used to publish a great magazine dedicated to all things MINI/Mini. His readers adored it, but productivity slowed due to inconsistency over the years. Times and expectations have changed and therein lies the problem: same old excuses and explanations, same old blame game...always the fault of someone else.

    Just my 2c.

When I had finished reading my email last night, I thought it was interesting he inferred that a dispute over a "model's" demands is the reason for this project being blown out of the water.

I guess there's a bit of truth to the quote from a great philosopher... "If its got lipstick or a dipstick, it's gonna give you trouble." In this case it appears to be a double whammy. Hope those who chose to invest were wearing their life jackets!

Why is a picture like that usually preface with the the line "A Florida resident..."?

Notice how most of the letter from Barry is a bit of double speak....kinda of..its not my fault..its their fault, etc...with info about " sponsors" etc, when it seems to me the BUYERS are more important....if you sell them...you don't need a sponsor...heck when I BUY a calander, I don't want to BUY ADVERTISING..."incendental" advertising is one thing...but sounds like the ones he was making were pretty heavily loaded up...
If they are mailing it yo me for free...that is different..

Just my two cents - sounds like it was altogether very poorly executed. Great idea, just don't let people who don't know what they're doi by handle it. I know the girl who was kicked out, she was for the month of August and she's actually really pretty. Ironically, it was Kelli's "executive" decision to get rid of her. Kind of odd how Kelli suddenly has two months, but that's not my business. Also, how do you wait until a day before it goes to print to realize you didn't get someone's release yet you've been using their photos for advertising for the "teaser" pics??? I'm a little confused by all of this.

If there was a Motoring Alliance calendar with sexy women, I would gladly volunteer myself to be in it.

I don't knowmanor this, I didn't sign the release for my photos to be used. What if you want to steal my identity or something? Or what if you use me for advertising then I get nothing out of it? Oh. Wait...that's not how MA operates!

    Here's a recent photo:

Ok, that works. Nate, we need to copy Barry on this calendar thing. It's the only good idea he's ever had, and frankly he shouldn't be entrusted with it.

It wasn't even his idea!!!!! Don't give him that credit. It was Kelli Creighton's after someone else suggested it to her on that stupid LXM facebook group. She just approached Barry when she couldn't handle it alone.

Clearly, QUITE successful. They didn't even sell 1,000 calendars BTW.

    Arghh.....

    It gets worse.

Be a good thing for MA to step up and do next year. I'd finally break down and buy one if it was helping someone. It is a good charity idea.
