Yes the dealer should have records on your Mini. If you have had it 4 years it is time for a new Supercharger belt, tensioner, idler pulley. I would take a good look at the crank pulley and make sure it is not getting cracks in the rubber. The supercharger oil is lifetime so they say, As long as its not leaking it is probably ok. That said I did mine around 100,000 miles.

Thanks for the info. Will need to go through the invoices to see what was done last. Lots of work was done on warranty so it's possible the belt was changed before I bought the car. The previous owner looked after it and would not hesitate to bring get the car in for servicing since he had the extended warranty. I am almost 3 hours away from that dealership so can't really take the car in to get it hooked on the computer to get more details. I have a local BMW dealer but he won't touch MINIs.
