I found a program that is free and incredibly easy to use. http://www.duplicate-finder.com/photo.html

This is not a McPuter vs a PC confuser issue.
The trouble is once all those pictures have been scattered hither tither & yon it is going to be a chore finding them all & them putting in them in some type of catalog so they can be found later. Sorry, but I don't have an easy answer for you.-

Agreed - I have both Mac and PC’s. With my family, we all take pictures etc and they are scattered across multiple different apple accounts, Dropbox etc. I’ve actually been dreading trying to figure out a way to bring them together and organize them. I don’t think there is a fully automated way. I think Apple photo’s can do some of it (I.e. location, time when taken etc). After that its pretty manual I think. On the plus side, you get to see pictures that will bring back memories while digging through them.
If I have some time while on a plane this week, I will look and see if I can find any better PC based programs for organizing pics.-

Let me help..................Get a MAC!!!!!
Ok sorry. I am no help when it comes to PC’s. I know on the Mac side there are programs that will go and look for duplicate files. I am sure the PC world has the same, I just don’t know what they are. Sorry
