Seems like poor form, IMHO, to jump into someone else's classifieds thread and critique price, post cheaper alternatives, etc.
If it were a general discussion thread, then all this is fair, good and welcome. And if you have great suggestions for how MINI owners can save money, post your own thread about it, by all means!
But a classifieds thread (or a vendor thread) is another man's cheerios. Don't pee in them. Please. Seems to violate MA rule #1.

$218 is high for this part, in my opinion.

I dont know....$95 shipped to my door for an OEM supplier part or approx. $230 shipped to my door with a "warranty" guess it boils down to how much you want to spend for a 24 month warranty.

I am not sure if i would TRUST a part that only carries a 3 month warranty. MINI OEM Fatory replacement parts carry a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty, sometimes saving a buck is not the best thing.

I did use the warranty once on one I got from my local dealerships parts dept.
The best thing was labor is included. The dealer did not put the one on I purchased 16 month earlier from them but they replaced it with a new one for free.:cornut:
Oh and they DID NOT wash my car, because they knew better.:lol: -

Fair enough, I am man enough to say maybe I did pee in some cheerios there and I officially apologize to the vendor( I am known for stirring the pot at times). I will say though, that I have seen many a classified ad for an item that the seller is way off with the price and many comments being said. I guess if you are a paying vendor its poor form to point this out. -
2. Respect the Seller – Yeah, that asking price is painfully high, the seller will soon find out when no one buys it. No need to trample over the sellers thread with comments like “Dude that price is insane, are you Palo Uber?†Let it go, or offer a lower price more along what the market is really paying. Don't like the brand or product the seller has listed. Let it be and move on. Others may like that brand or product. This is Sales area, leave the discussion of the merits elsewhere.
