So I am sick of dimwits that have to drive around with every light on. They are as bad as people that use bright lights for their dim lights! I don't care if you have bright lights that shine like the sun but for around town your dims should not blind on coming traffic. Even the manufactures are going to far. The other night I saw a new Clubman. I was behind it on a dark road in a light drizzle. The ugly pig has 3, thats right 3 brake lights in addition to the tail lights. Every time the driver hit his brakes I was blinded!! I mean it was to the point of being dangerous! The only up side to being blinded by it was I could not see its big ugly rear end. This really needs to stop! Thank you for tuning into my rant!
A agree, LED taillights are really bright, and when you sit behind a car with them at a light they're really annoying. And why morons need to drive on a clear night with their fog lights on is beyond me.....
Oh & let's not leave out those stupidly blinding HID conversations stuck in a halogen housing. Man Lee see what you've started. :incazzato:
This is exactly why I want a hand held laser gun to zap those anoying head lights and LED taillights. :incazzato:
Um don't all cars have 3 brake lights. One on each side and the one in the middle. I thought the idea with the LED tail and brake lights was that designers could make the lighting structures smaller. I guess the F56 designers didn't get the memo.
Yes they do but the Clubman has 3 dedicated brake light pluse the normal tail lights. It has one in the middle at the top of the hatch and two in the bumper. And they are bright!!!
Sounds like they converted the rear fogs to brake lights. The ones I really can't stand are the DIY HID kits. When I get blinded by one of those while driving the Suburban I hit'em with my 8" 300 watt KC driving lights. That way there are two blind men hurtling toward each other... on a dark country road... probably not the smartest thing to do. :nonod:
In the US you can't have the main brake lights on a moving panel so the brake lights were put into the bumper to meet DOT regs, just like the Ferrari California. Did the lights in the barn doors also get brighter when braking on this Clubman? On the Clubman they should have gone with vertical lights, and doors like the previous gen so they would be on stationary quarter panels. The new lights look like someone put them on wrong at the factory. They don't follow the lines of the body, or look like any other mini in the past.
The brake lights are the ones in the center on the roof, and the two in the bumper. They were very bright!
That thing looks like the greenhouse portion of the body doesn't fit the rest of the car. And the clubman was heard asking "do these tail lights make my butt look big?"
That's funny but I like scaring the crap out of the other driver by turning off my lights and getting in the lane they are in. People really freak out.:lol::lol:
How about the other extreme.... Ever see a car with no tail lights, and really dim headlights?! It being driven by a dimwit that thinks the DRL's are auto headlights....
