72 Olds Cutlass Supreme 4 door
75 Buick Apollo ( a car so bad that they only made it for one year and renamed it Skylark in 76)
78 Ford Fiesta (the Schircco slayer)
76 (?) Mercury Capri II
76(or 77 can't remember) Ford Mustang II (4 cylider)
78 MG Midget with center lock wire wheels. I think it came to me in 84 and it was the best summer ever.
85 Chevy Caprice Classic (a retired police car that spent a few years as a cab. It had the outlines of the cab company decals silhouetted against the faded powder blue paint and a giant chrome bumper. You did not need to flash the high beams for someone to get out of your way)
89 Honda CRX (that thing was bullet proof and the first car that I actually got to sell after owning it)
Various military equipment that I technically didn't own, but I did sign for it. Anything from M998 Humvie to M1A1.
02 Honda Prelude that got me from the east coast to the west coast in a little over a day.
03 Audi A6 3.0 (nice comfortable sedan that we sold after a little over a year. The dealer didn't understand what 36 month full service meant. Neither did the company as a whole.)
05 Mini Cooper Covertible
06 Mini Cooper S JCW -
Bought my first car in 1964, which was a Vauxhal (year unknown), for $100.00Everything worked (which wasn't very much) except the windshield wipers, so I drove around praying it wouildn't rain.
In 1966 I bought a brand new TR Spitfire. Gas gauge did not work, but I put a couple hundard miles on it before the part came in.
Many cars after that, but getting my Mini (everything works fine) seemed fitting, as I started out with British imports.

My first car in 1956 when I got home from Korea was a fire engine red 1950 Dodge convertible. Unfortunately I only got about four blocks when it conked out. I went down the street and bought instead a bright yellow 1950 Ford convertible (I was into hot colors). It served me well for a couple of years except it would drop the rear drive shaft universal occasionally. I got a couple of UV joints from a scrap yard and kept them in the glove box. I got so I could change out a UV joint in about 10 minutes. I had a lot of fun in that car.
I have a lot of fun in my MINI, only different. -
i've owned a schwin bike, but i dont have it anymore, the chain broke and the whole thing is about to fall apart

75 Chevy van, short box

Wow, forgot the 85 Nissan 200 SX (an ex girlfriend wrapped it around a palm tree at the ramp of 405n to 101n. The tree was subsequently removed). Was reminded of that reading rest of the posts. Also there was the 75 Honda CVCC (i think that was the original one). Some sort of Dodge circa '64 was a loaner from a guy I worked summers and weekends for. No PS, no a/c, but it got me to the beach every day during the summer of '82. A 72 Eldorado white on white convertible courtesy of the same guy was my date night car.

I had decided just to donate it to a local charity, when about a week before I was going to pick up the MINI a young kid pumping gas at a gas station commented to me that he loved the first gen Sciroccos. So we started talking about the car, the mods I had, the fact that I was the original owner and I mentioned that I was getting a new MINI. Well he proceeded to point over my shoulder at a very nice BRG original Mini parked next to the station. He told me that it was his dad's car and he had to drive it as his current ricer had died.
So being the good samaritan I am, I offered to sell him my VW.....
So we made plans for him and his father to come by the house and take it for a test drive. They ended up being gone for over 45 mins. So I am thinking great the thing died on them, or they got into an accident, or out of gas and any number of other catastrophes. Well they finally came back with no issues and offered $300 for it. Well I thought about it long and hard for all of about 10 sec's and agreed.......
Found out about 6 months later that the little punk had rattle canned the car flat black, broke out the rear window and covered it with plastic, and then proceeded to run the thing into the ground. Ended up being sold to a tow yard.
Man I loved that car......:cryin: -

You probably could've sold it to Batrugger. He has a thing for Dubs.

So besides owning a rather long list of cars, I have also gotten to drive some real gems.
While living in Sweden in the early 70's, working on a farm, I drove an Opel Blitz into the market everyday. Also drove around in a Citroen Maserati, the big one with the single spoke steering wheel, and a button thing for a brake pedal. Numerous Volvos and Saabs, tractors that I have no idea what make they were.
I've also spent a fair amount of time behind the wheel of many 5 ton trucks while on tour.
This is close to what the Blitz looked like;

The list is short and sweet of cars I've owned:
76 GMC Sierra Grande (Always ran)
91 Plymouth Laser (Rarely ran)
69 MGB roadster (Never ran)
2006 MCS (sure can run!)
I've driven a bunch more cool stuff but I'll stick with the "owned" aspect for now. -

hmmm-not counting over 30 motorcycles
my automotive A.D.H.D. is long and quickly changing. You can see the various muscle cars and how my ownership of them escalated after the first opec dealio in 73ish, when they plummeted in value. most of the cars in the 73-81 period were co owned between my brother and I, we lived and worked together and always had 3-6 cars/trucks and some bikes around. it was a free for all when deciding what to drive, jsut grab the keys to something that is out there, and head out. This list also overlooks several "rat" winter cars we had that i don't remember much about so i left them off. I still have the 26 foot hauler and one old muscle car I am working on as well as the MINI and the wifes Acura
