What really creeped me out was the length of his thumbnails....
Girlyboy Dude.... Use your nail clippers.... That's downright disgusting...

I just lift my middle finger and it acts like a sundial on my palm....
I do.... For some reason get a lot of flack from people around me when I'm checking the time...-

Man..... Here a I thought a horological enthusiast meant something else entirely [emoji41]
I never had a top money watch and eventually stopped wearing one altogether since my cell phone had a clock on it.-

I was a bit of a watch hoarder myself, had some 10 or so nice watches (none over around $250). But stopped wearing them around 10 yrs ago after an incident that could have been much worse.....got the watch caught on a load of drywall as it shifted. Now I just check my phone for the time.

Watch people routinely pay $20,000 for gold watches. They're Bernie Ecclestone's preferred target audience for F1.
Expect the gold Apple Watch to easily be over $10,000, the mid range over $1,000 and the cheapest we already know will be $350.-

Just had the Tag Heuer that I havent't worn since the early 90's fixed. Needed only a new battery and cleaning. $25bucks.
I don't wear it often. kinda beat up looking gold on black sports model. I like it. Serves me well.
I do have a thing for watches. Started early on, I was about 10, we were on Barbados, Dad bought a Rolex. I got my first Breitling Navitimer.
Ever since I've been a horological enthusiast. Not that my wallet can afford my tastes...-

Yes Scooter. I could tell it was his thumb. I was pointing out that perhaps he is a little backwards with his "habit." That's all.

I've been a mechanical watch guy for a long time. I have a watchmaker's tool kit and occasionally buy lots (as in a few at a time) of old mechanical watches in need of repair and try to repair them myself. My success rate is probably 30-40%, but the lots are cheap, so I have fun. I have ended up with a few, as that numpty in the video above described as 'mid level' watches, including an Alpina Avalanche automatic chrono, a Fortis Fleiger, and a few ETA watches. But remember what he said about ETA watches: THEY'RE FUKCING $4IT, FUKCING $4IT!!!!! THEY'RE $4IT!!!!!!!!.
For you enthusiasts, here's a vid that WolfGTI linked to me recently.

I used to buy phoney Rolexes, we called them Rorexes, in Taiwan all the time and give them to friends and family.
Quartz movement ones were $25, selfwinding movement $50.
I gave one of the $50 Rorexes to my Dad, about the same time a friend of his got a real Rolex. His friend had to bring his watch in for repairs about three times in the first two year he had it, Dad's Rorex just kept ticking.-

I got into it and out of it a little past 2 minutes. Not having worn a watch for 40+ years, that fellow became incredibly tiresome.

Heck, I don't understand why someone would spend more than a hundred bucks for a wrist watch.

I think you have to drive a SMART car to wear a smart watch.
