It's MITM weekend, a great time at Winter Park, and in someone stroll's. I know that face I'd seen it before. No, not on a wanted poster in the Post Office, but here in my retail store. I started a casual conversation, and then it comes out, he's a FUGITIVE!!! A BANNED member from another site, that we won't mention by name (NAM), there I said it. O.k. for those who don't no North American Motoring. I admit it I've been there before, hell I've even posted on it (shoot me if you must). But this person, how could this person be BANNED? This person is just a very friendly person, caring, outgoing, ect. I was taken back when the conversation turned to finding out that they had been BANNED. So the talk moved on to other things but I couldn't let it go. Yes we talked about the beautiful weather, the rides he or she were going to take, what he or she were going to be doing while he or she were here. And what a great time I think all were having here at MITM. The weather was great, the people were having a good time. So thanks to all that stopped in my shop to say hi. The soaps we had in the shape of MINI's were a huge hit. FYI, if anyone want's any just drop me a PM and I can arrange it. So I've met a FUGITIVE, do I tell you now or do I make you guess!! Well those who know me, know your going to have to guess, so I'm going to be giving daily clues. I will start out with the first clue. This person when on the other MINI site (NAM), posted over 30,000 post. That is clue 1, start your guessing. To the winner the thought that you turned over or in a FUGITIVE, a BANNED member of society. Good Luck and happy guessing, and Nathan no cheating. I know your secret too.
A think using the term FUGITIVE is inappropriate, regardless of the person's identity. A fugitive is someone who is fleeing from custody, slavery, etc. Someone who is banned doesn't make them a fugitive since they were never "owned" by the sewing site. I'm certain that your intentions are geared to lighthearted humor & harmless fun, but it just seems to rub me the wrong way at this moment. The passive innuendo directed toward Nathan is definitely inappropriate, IMHO. Infamous might be a more appropriate term.
Nathan is a friend, and this he or she that I am talking about, I told he or she that I was going to do this. Sorry it rubbed you wrong. But it is supposed to be very light hearted. And I used the wording the way I did because it is exactly as I told this person I was going too. I could say I met a banned person, but it just didn't have the ring to it. Sorry, but it was all it fun.
I feel more like the Fugitive now. I was expecting more fun than being shot down. Thanks Crashton for the comment. I knew there were more out there like me with a since of humor. I've got more clues to give along the way. But I don't know if some want to play. Will see! I'm thinking about crossing over to the dark side (motoringunderground) oh jeez I probably will get BANNED for that. All in humor people, all in good humor.
I gathered that it was all in good fun... I guess I was just in a "mood" when I read it...which is why I will ONLY do shots of tequila if I'm in a great mood, otherwise it only makes me even more of a biotch than I can normally be at times. :aureola:

How in the HELL did you figure it was Lotsie, MetalMan? That was pretty quick, I'm impressed, I would never bash other sites to much, I visit them both and don't want to be banned. As far as Nathans secret, he was banned also from NAM. When Mark and Lois and I were talking this weekend Lois brought it up and I just couldn't believe it. Here's this guy that I just can't believe anyone would want banned off there site. I always enjoy Marks threads and comments and all you guys and girls are just great. That has to be the fastest guessing I could of imagined. Way to go Metal Man congrats.
