I "let" my wife take it to London, Ontario this weekend and find myself left with our Honda Accord (yawn). :frown2: I wanna go drive!!!!!! :arf: Someone local with a MINI come get me. I'll pay for gas, I just wanna ride somewhere....
I understand how you feel. You are a good husband to let your wife enjoy a romp in the MINI too. Now just go out & drive that appliance. Maybe if you installed a fart pipe & a pep boys park bench rear wing you'd feel the love for it. :ihih:
Ummmm, she wouldn't appreciate either mod. When she isn't happy no one is. So I ran it thru the carwash and parked it.
Sounds like a sound plan. One more thing, fill the tank & she'll be happy. Sorry to kick you when you were down.
For the two years I have owned my MINI, my wife has never driven it. This way she does not know what she is missing, so there is no problem. You my think this cruel, but i'm not getting stuck with her Explorer. :nonod: Jim
For the first 3 years of MINI ownership, I let a hand full of people drive my MINI, with me in the passenger seat. My daughter (once) and Mrs. lotsie are the only ones who have gone solo in him. Plus a few MINI techs. Mark
I "let" Babs take "our" MINI to an art workshop out of town for a weekend while I did brakes on her Forester XT. Man that was a long weekend. I really missed my wife. Lesson learned, always make sure her car is in tip top condition so she doesn't have to borrow "our" MINI. :yesnod:
The MINI's been parked in the garage waiting for a clutch job. My clutch is toast and I'm impatiently waiting for the friction plate (flywheel). They say the part is on back order and should be shipped out within 2-3 weeks.:mad2:
Our other car is a Honda CRV. Its a nice economical car but everytime I drive it, it bores me to death. I think the MINI might have ruined me.....
My lovely wife and Pepper returned today, both in good health. I will shower my wife with love later and Pepper will get a wash this week. Backing away from the cliff.
I totally agree with you! While the MINI is parked in the garage, waiting for a clutch job, I'm driving my trusty Ol' Honda Civic. It's reliable and gets me from point A to point B, but man, there's no comparison.
