    Sorry about your luck but I would not want the car back at this point.

    Ask them for huge discount on a new one of have them find you a replacement one.

    Well, in fact that is my next step...should it come back not fully functioning as it should. I'm sure if MINI USA were to calculate the dollar amount spent on parts, labor and time spent trekking the car between me and the dealer, which is about 145miles each way, they would probably want to find a fair trade value of some sort to rectify this whole thing and quit spending money on it all together. :fingerscrossed:

    If in fact there is a possibility that some kind of favorable arrangement could be made it might be in your best interest to take it and not look back.

    Nope! I haven't done anything to it except for drive it for a day or two and call the dealer to come and pick it back up.

    What cage are you referring to?
