Don't undo your AC lines. just unbolt the compressor from the engine.

    just a little update,
i have not had a free minute to take it apart. i keep trying to get it apart. but everything keeps getting in the way. between school and working on refinishing a cabin with my dad. i seem to only have time to sleep. eventually ill get it apart.

    It's easiest that way.

You really really need a Bentley manual.

GET A MANUAL! ! ! Doesn't matter how well you take it apart if you have to try and put it back together right. Best investment available for a DIY mechanic.

If nothing else the manual has all the torque values for reassembly.

well now everythings kinda at a stand still. ive got the motor out and apart. and the cylinders are all still rusty after running a ball hone through them. and all the rings are fried. the pistons are all good thought surprisingly.

so heres the next problem. finding an engine. it seems like its close to impossible.
i can not find a good running engine anywhere.
i found one in queens, the guy says its got 104K but it was in a wreck. and he wants 1800. i talked him down to 1000 w/o the supercharger and water pump and other little stuff that i still have. but hes beening a prick about it. he says it ran a year ago when they pulled it.

i just dont wanna get screwed on a motor. and i cant really afford to rebuild the one i have.
