I've just fitted on my R56S the Dunlop Sprt Maxx RT run flat tires and I must say that they are nothing like the ones I had before (CONTINENTAL conti sport 03 run flats). The Dunlop although are more comfortable and silent on the road it seems that on hard corners they kinda slide sideways more than the Continental!! I don't know if this can be hazardous on more extreme driving but it certainly gives a pretty scary feeling!
Has anyone had a similar experience?

I can't personally say but I can say I've never read any thing good about run-flats.

Devil ? Yes , and speaking of you.....more poor decisions.

I am really surprised you did not start a "what tire should I buy thread".

Then again you would not listen and end up in the same place you are today with crappy Run Flats.

Ditch the run rocks for a reputable well reviewed tyre and the sliding will go away. If you do slide on some good performance tires it's (intentional I hope) predictable and controllable. Run flats just under-steer like a mother.

Then return the crap you got and buy them. Why did you change?

Different tires react differently. DUH :frown2:

My 2 cents worth. If you chose runflats than yes it's the wrong tire.

Those are the tires that were on the car when I purchased it and I had that issue. After a couple laps on a track it felt like I was driving on gravel they slid so bad.

I know this is a silly question but have you had at least 500 miles of driving on the tires before pushing them? The releasing compound takes some time to wear off new tires.
