This is one of those sounds we NEVER want to hear, much less feel in the loss of power. :frown2: I can only hope it is an easy fix for you....:fingerscrossed:

Maybe it was just a loose plug that popped out of a cylinder and tripped limp mode.
-
It would be nice if it was just a spark plug. But all the wires were still in place. I drove by it just know on my way home and it's a sad sight sitting there! I'm off to get a tow dolly and go drag it home

visions of piston rod sticking out of block... never good. Need to know it was just a silly hose that popped off.

Sorry for your troubles Lee. I hope you get it sorted out soon.

Thanks everyone. I seems I have got lucky. I got it home where I could hear better. Turned out to be a plug as Dave suggested. Got some new plugs and it tightened down all seems fine. I will take a better look around tomorrow

Coulda been a lot worse!
I had the porcelain pop out of a plug right after I rebuilt the engine in my old Samurai... Thought it was toast with only 5 miles on the new motor! -
