    That sweet chip of yours..

    Just trying to see where your located,I'm in Roanoke VA and I'm just making sure your in this country? I'm very interested in it..and I'm assuming you still have it and leads me to ask,what forms of payment can you except? Paypal Is preferable...

    Also is this the chip that also turns your sports mode on when you start the car?

    Welcome to M/A. I grew up in Roanoke, still have family there and will be in town at the end of the month. Last time I was in Roanoke I did notice there are a lot of MINI's running around. Don't you all have to go to NC or Richmond for service?

    I'm located in Texas, so yes I am in this country. I can except PayPal. Not sure what your definition of Sport Mode is but this one does have the capability of turning DSC OFF when the car is started.

    This unit is one of the original ones that was actually made by Ian himself back in late 2005 - 2006.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the original First Gen (R53 vintage) circuit is compatible with 2nd Gen (R57 vintage) MINIs...

    You are correct, there are 2 different models, one for 1st Gen and one for 2nd gen. This one listed here being from Ian himself is for the 1st generation MINI (02-06 R50, R53 or 04-07 R52)

    This is in fact a correct statement. The one that I have will ONLY work on 1st generation MINI's.

    It would seem that this circuit has gone through quite a few revisions. Does this one just do the windows and nothing else?

    It will do the windows as well as turning DSC off when starting the MINI. It was considered version 5 when Ian himself was building them by himself.

    Oh man I just got to reply to this crap I never got an e-mail saying there was a response as I'm not on here to often.. That sucks but i guess that's the way it go's..

    Hey man sorry Im just now replying to this one,but yes I generally go o flow of Winston Salem and I've actually gone unto Annapolis mini in MD every now and then being it's on the way back to my wife's family living there..
    Mostly I just do my own work..
