Way to go Nathan! With all you have been through and to have accomplished what you have! YOU ARE THE MAN!!!
And on a side not I love to fly. The flight always leaves when I want. The seats are sheep skin covered and roomy and I have a great view.-

Not where we WANT to go...
That being said, I can't wait to get back in the seat....sucks working for a living!!
I'd trade a ton of bs just to be flying again, ice, thunderstorms, traffic, etc...-

Met with my nutritionist today. She was laughing at me. While going over my goals I was lamenting the fact that it so hard to get great veggies this time of year and I didn't freeze or jar enough from the farmers market over the summer.
Why the laughter...
Almost all her other patients don't have these issues. Most still eat like carp and here I am with my big problem that pales in comparison.
Then she told me about a group that meets for an hour or so to tend to raised bed gardens they have behind the building. Urban Gardening, something I've been looking into.
The real cold is not agreeing with me. When cold, below 25F, I feel brittle after being out a bit. It's hurting my walking. The real struggle is maintaining weight with reduced activity. Not slipping...just not losing.-

Peaks and valleys, it's completely normal. Just gotta keep pushing through the valleys and hit the reset button. It's hard to stay on track after a major change and be consistent with diet, exercise, state of mind, etc...A lifestyle change is a long-term goal; it's rare for someone to make drastic changes and not slip back a bit at times. Can't beat yourself up about it, just have to get back to what you were doing well and keep working at it. You're in better shape than you were four years ago, focus on that, use that as motivation, don't get hung up on the relatively temporary setbacks, that makes it too easy to give up. It's a process, and it takes time.
I hate sounding like Dr. Phil, I'll bow out now...-

Nathan, good to see the progress on the meds, bumps and lows happen, they go away, think only a few more weeks and it will be Spring!
Then you can de-salt Gnat, go out and walk the hood in shorts and a t-shirt, work in the community garden, etc...
Keep up the good work, this time of year we all have low points, you just have a harder job than some of us.

As soon as Spring gets here you will start feeling better. This long cold Winter crap is getting annoying.
Bring out the Sun and lets melt this snow and defrost the ground already. It's almost time to go to the Dragon for a week long PARTY!-

Yeah, winter sucks. I don't know what I'd do if I lived in the snow belt and couldn't get out and walk much. Glad you're back at it!

That's awesome!
I think the head stuff is a complex medical condition commonly referred to as "BBHFBJMR" (Bad Barry High Frequency Bad Juju Magnetic Radiation). One of those space blankets wrapped over your head, like in "Better Call Saul", will usually take care of it.-

Great news Nathan! If your head is still a little messed up when you get to Fontana I recommend that you talk to Jan. He's got the best head for Gnat.
