Those were the inspiration! Just put one on your wall, fixate on it and read it over and over.
All your troubles will go away, and I've read the good karma translates into better AFR's at least an increase of 10WHP, shorter braking distances, and a reduced chance of yeast infections. -

I'm not against either discipline (eastern v western medicine) but I sure am anti-pills! I have a meeting Tues with my new cardiologist to see if I can get off the last few I'm taking.....nothing would please me more than to replace pills with a good mantra.

Well that sounds very cool thank you! I'll
message you with my contact info. -
Nathan I hope you can start to get some sleep. I know what its like to go long periods without it. It can wipe you out mentally and emotionally. It can be hard to keep your spirits up.

OH! I would pay big bucks for a 5.4, my Doc would probably take me off meds with a 5.4. Wow!
Great job, will I recognize you next time we see each other at an event?

I think the support part of the next phase might be one of the more important things since you had your surgery. If you're getting most of your exercise now by walking, might be hard to self-motivate when the weather turns. Similar to the problem I'll have this winter since nearly all my exercise this year has been on a self-propelled 2-wheeled vehicle.
"Walking is man's best medicine." ~Hippocrates
(full disclosure: don't know whether Hippocrates ever really said that, I read it somewhere...still good advice, just keep moving) -

As trite or cliche'd as it may sound, malls are perfect for this sort of activity, whether you go in early or just mingle with the crowds. Plenty of open spaces that are nice and warm (or cool, depending on the season) and always open...usually there's a group that meets there regularly and going with a group is an excellent way to get regular at it.
I'm waiting for my second stress test -my last one 2 years ago was "normal", which they tell me is the result they want to see - and if I pass this one too I'll be eligible to get my knee fixed, hopefully over the Xmas holiday. Once that's done it's into the senior center for me - I'm hoping I'm the youngest if not the most fit guy there! The rates are cheap and I should have little to no competition from those young six packed hard bodies!
If you're too young to get in there, go to the YMCA - also good rates and plenty of things to do, machines, free weights, walking, steps etc.
Plus they have a pool!
If I can do it, so can anybody.....
