And, when we shared a few laughs last June, you looked damn good! Hang in there buddy.

I had a heart valve replaced, along with 4 feed line repairs in 2012. It was like getting rebuilt for retirement. So far...GREAT. I had a triple by-pass in 1984. Nathan, if you are blogging about your 'study' somewhere, let me know. I am always interested picking up knowledge that helps. Thanks...

My wife has really reduced the amount of carbs intake and her weight loss had been very productive. Carbs convert into sugars, then you know the rest. She is borderline diabetic has worked so far.

My Mom always referred to me as THICK WAISTED in high school.
Fast forward, Limiting sugar, starch and increasing protein whenever possible along with your daily incessive commitment to MOVE IT, has brought me a lot of success. You go Nathan!!!
(feel free to imagine the Move it sound track from Madagascar, Will I Am) which is EPIC...[emoji2] -
Sooooo....It's been a while.
Has not been my best summer. Lack of car has prevented me from many of the plans I had. The study fell by the wayside. Getting a ride at 5.30 on a Monday evening to get to the classes has been a problem. It becomes stupidly expensive to use Uber or Car2Go.
The trips to the gym, nope. Again stupidly expensive to use Uber or Car2Go to get to the rehab classes.
Once or twice with Uber or Car2Go isn't bad, as a daily transportation, not so much.
Head has been a mess too. Therapy is helping some.
Had a procedure today to reduce the leg swelling. Side effect is the varicose veins will clear up. No pain as I write. Once all the meds wear off there will be some. I'm eschewing the opiates this time around. They make me do stupid things.
A few weeks for the leg to fully heal. Hopefully car will be back then too and I'll be back at in the cardio rehab program.

So yeah, it's been a while.
Cancer is revisiting. Now in a kidney. Going in tomorrow to have the kidney removed. I'll be offline for a few days most likely.
I've requested the kidney, want to put it in a jar on my bookshelf.
That's why I'm not on MTTS. -
You'll be up and running in no time bud, here's to a Speedy recovery! :beer
-
I want to see this bastard kidney of yours.

Make sure that jar can't break...you won't want any of the contents spread around the room if it falls off the shelf and shatters.
More importantly, much more, here's to a speedy recovery. -

Just as a matter of curiosity Doc, why can't he keep his old kidney once it's out? I mean, it's his, right?
-
I tried to get 'em to save my colon for me. Not even a smile.
Prayers said now, and again tomorrow... positive thoughts, too. Healing, fast recovery, back on the road. -
