I think I missed a few things, but still proud of you, buddy. I know it's hard work, but the payoff is well worth it.
MotherFu$#er... on any given day, Nathan might be lighter than me now. Dammit. My bariatric surgery can't happen fast enough, now. Keep up the great work, dude. I need to walk more.
The celebrate the win went and saw Junior Brown last night. Damn, that was one hell of show. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VRMNeoaosQw]Junior Brown - My Wife Thinks You're Dead - YouTube[/ame]
Damn Nathan, good job. Keep up the good work and glad to hear you are still working on discovering the new you. Its good to hear someone taking things serious and making a change for the good. I am proud of you my friend and you should be damn proud of you too.
Good to be in the twos. Congratulations on the progress and more to come. Like to see the positive postings, never turn down another view if they offer it to you. As many have noted, watch the med. overlaps, my goal is to be chemistry free other than the bare basics. I cannot image your regimen after the major event in your life. Thoughts with you and all of the M/A folks who want to make a change for their betterment. Don
Someone asked me recently how I eat so well and lose weight. One of the tricks is starting with stuff like this.
Trees and bushes......blech.....:frown2: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGDOvVwv2kE"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGDOvVwv2kE[/ame]
Those trees and bushes are giving of themselves for the greater good. When roasted and simmered for hours the flavor base for meat is procured.
Whew - Before I expanded the tiny thumbnail on my iPad, I thought you were eating Christmas wreaths! :eek6: Keep doing what you're doing.
Just realized today is 5 months from my surgery. Seems so much longer ago in another life... Had an EMG Test today, that was odd. I think the department also trains the three letter agency operatives. Turns out I have carpel tunnel too... So the twisted brain in me thinks Fish in the Wrist... That leads to... Ants in my pants.... I knew there was an earwig in there someplace. Those of a certain age from the Mid-Atlantic area will remember this ditty that got a fair amount of airplay. Many people with carpel tunnel, especially if it's in their dominant hand, are halfway to going blind. Oddly enough, pubertal and post-pubertal males appear at the highest risk. Be careful, very careful. I was going to add something about that hot date, carpel tunnel, a dominant hand, and the meaning of life, but then that would be just downright mean...
Saw my cardiologist today. He's thrilled with my progress, called me the poster boy for how to turn it all around. No med changes, I was hoping to reduce or get off some. Was told that if can drop another 20 lbs by next visit in 6 months then we'll make adjustments. That's gonna be easy. Heh.
