That Yoga room looks like it could only handle one person standing up.... I would need a lot more room....
Nate, you already have one urological problem, don't tempt fate with the Yoga and develop another one--or possibly two--bilateral gonadal Yoga injuries are far too common.
This is Gentle Yoga offered by The James Cancer Center, where I am being treated. The Nurse Practitioner on my Doctor's team recommended this program. It is not at a traditional Yoga studio. Simple poses, breathwork, calming imagery and brief meditations. Adapted to all fitness levels. Yoga mats and blocks provided, or you may bring your own. May improve flexibility, muscle tone, mindfulness, and relaxation. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
I know a guy who tried that, and is on permanent disability now from a strangulated vas deferens. His voice went up two octaves. Be careful... Just kidding--actually is sounds like a great idea, especially if it's a group in the same situation--especially if it helps with mindfulness and relaxation. Just don't wear anything too binding.....
As an alternative to Yoga, consider climbing in and out of a Mini Hatchback rear seat -- about 10 reps should suffice.
Since I know that y'all want to know. First Yoga class was today. It went quite well. I'm frankly quite surprised how relaxed I feel now. I didn't even think about the site or MINI stuff for the 1.25 hours the class lasted. I'll be going back.
