I did not miss it at all and it went right through Philly.

MOTD is much more fun and I really think its better organized. How long till MOTD 11?

 

I was completely opposed to Face Book and only joined a couple of months ago. I am amazed that "FB IS WHERE ALL THE INFORMATION IS". Sad, but I now know what my family has been doing on daily basis. Just make page and simply read things. FWIW.

After working MTTS 08, I'm surprised to see there isn't much more organization now. Still, it's all about the owners as opposed to being about MINI USA. Still, it is disappointing some things aren't more refined. Having a blast either way! We'll forgive some little niggles along the way!

 

I have been thinking the opposite. I registered for one of the legs along the route and have been looking forward to it.

However, now that it is here I am somewhat disappointed not to be hearing more information as it happens. Then again, I don't Facebook so if that is where the info is I guess I don't need to know.

So now, I am not so excited bout going..... But I still have time to decide.

 

We're leaving for Chicago on Sunday morning, and are very excited to see what shapes up. This will be our first "national" MINI event, we'll hang with the flow through the Des Moines stop, then back home the morning after.

Facebook, yes it's likely perfectly suited for this sort of thing. I've been using Twitter to follow the White Roof Radio updates, and others at #MTTS2012.

Hmmm. Back in the day, either you went, or read about it in a newsletter a month later, or a print magazine 2 months later. Now: photos and commentary in near real-time. Or real-time, if you wish, via some video-streaming app on someone's smartphone.

 

First weekend in May. April 29th - May 5th to be exact.
