I've seen your car at the Mini Meet in MN, and the euro fest at the BMW factory in SC. And I LOVE IT. Makes me want to find a Riley. You should post more pics and info on the build, it would be a good read. Plus I know that Vtec makes it fast.

    Thanks! Glad you like it.
I don't feel like uploading a whole new photo gallery, but there are quite a few pics here: Riley Rehab - a set on Flickr

The MiniMag photog shot it at MM09 in Winona, but I haven't seen it in the mag yet. It was in MC2 magazine last month. (That's a New MINI magazine if you haven't heard of it)

Hi all, I am new to this thread but not new to the site. I am already the proud owner of a 2007 MINI Cooper S Cabriolet - Sidewalk Package, and just this Saturday, I added to the family. I purchased a Classic Mini in San Diego. The car is in good shape but needs some attention. The radiator needs to be flushed and the transmission needs to be looked at. It appears to be either a fluid issue or belts. Anyway, it can be fixed I just don't want to drive it any further. It is currently safe with family. I need to transport it about 250 to 300 miles home over the Grapevine. Anyone out there knowledgeable of a reliable vehicle transport company? Checking the Internet is a shot in the dark. Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone had any experience in using a vehicle hauler and a pickup truck? I'm game. It would be a new experience but what's 250 miles if I take it slow.

In the hunt for a Classic. Got a couple to look at in L.A. tomorrow.

Does this mean I'm chasing classic cars?
