    Of course winter tires are what you need. At least make sure they are all season. From what I have heard & read the Conti DWS tires are supposed to be good. Maybe a bit less expensive than Michelin's.

    I'll add to the transmission fluid change a coolant system flush & change on a 2006 you are past due.

    Yes I'm in Toronto.
    I hate walking in off the street.
    I need recommendations. Not comfortable with online reviews.
    I'll leave my kid with strangers but not my dog or my car.

    I'd find a good independent shop. Have them take a look.

    Has the transmission fluid ever been changed? It's not really lifetime.

    Moved the thread to the 100,000K + area.

    Where are you located for starters? If Toronto don't they have any non -dealer shops?
