Have rooms reserved for Mid-Ohio, first time in a long time for those cars to be there. Cut my teeth watching Can-Am/IMSA at M-O back in the mid-70’s Went to the bike races there forever, too. Saw Porsches only Indy Car win there. Been to bike track days. Been to just about everything they have ever run there at least once. Really excited to see IMSA return.

I'm wondering if the cars wing adds down force to the truck. They spent all their money on the race car no money for a fancy semi hauler.

What a ridiculous mess. I give them credit for arranging to cover the entire race without any gaps (that is, assuming they don't cut in somewhere along the line) but why spread it around like that?

Someone pointed out that a rear view of a Ford GT looks like the bottom half of the car is missing...

    Anyone else see it?

I'm sure that's the missing rear bodywork. It's a great pic though because what's missing is the bodywork that surrounds the diffuser and getting to see it on its own shows just how huge and deep that diffuser is. But credit to the guy who said it always looks like half the car -- the bottom half -- is missing, even with that chunk of bodywork in place the diffuser takes up so much space that I agree with him.

I take it back. I think that's just what it looks like when you remove the rear wheels/tires and can clearly see that there is, indeed, no bodywork surrounding the diffuser.

Some might find this interesting. It's an in-cabin video feed from the #23 prototype, but apparently it's only live when Fernando Alonso is driving. o_O (oh yeah, I should warn you social media abstainers that this is on Facebook)

If Mazda didn't have bad luck they'd have no luck at all.
