Did anybody watch the Long Beach Race? GM FTW! Cadillac won the Prototype class and Corvette the GTLM class.
Sorry about that. It was televised live and I just happened to stumble on the broadcast with a little more than an hour left. Worth watching though. It was a good close race right down to the finish.
Petit around the corner. Still don't have a champion, nobody talking IMSA here since April... these guys still have a shot at it... Core wins another race while everyone following last year's Petit "test appearance" that Roger's squad would dominate the season, but they haven't even won a race yet LEDs in the woods Last year's Petit winner for the last time in Tequila colors, possibly even completely out of the series without the sponsorship Sharp into the light
I'll be at Petit - Thursday - Saturday. That said, it has been a ruff season for me. I've only watched a few of them. I need to get my stuff straight and watch more of them. Can't believe how few I've watched. Glad you kicked this thread back up. I'll post some pic during the weekend. Anyone else going to Petit?
I think one of Roger's cars won the Mid-Ohio round of the series. I'm hoping Core can do it. I always root for the little team. F1 Japan, hoping for a good race without team orders.
Man I'm sooooo far behind. I only watched 2 F1 races (still have them DVR'd). Need to catch up. I will be at Petit this week.. starting Thursday if anyone is going.
Will do - we are planning on watching tonight after racing dies down. Here is the start.. whomever wins this race (Mini or BMW) wins the championship... granted the field in this class is very limited.
What a way to end the season. Great race. Sorry to see the coverage change next year......wonder who will be the broadcasters?
Yes great race for sure. I'm sure NBCSN will do a good job. I only hope they don't preempt the races for the Jr Tiddlywinks finals.
