Watched it on TV and it was a darn good race. There were two different main strategies the teams were working from. Go for a time delta on a lap using low fuel and only 2 stops or drive it like you stole it and do 3 stops. I'm really glad the go for it strategy prevailed. Kudos to Charlie Kimbal and team for rolling those dice and making it work.
I get to Mid Ohio a lot as it's my favorite course. However, for some reason, I have not attended yet this year. I'm busy this weekend, too, so I guess I'll just be going in October for the Great Pumpkin.
See you up there Chuck! Blake and I will be parked down in the esses and probably sitting in the top of the esses if they have erected the temporary grandstands in front of our usual spot.
I plan to spend an hour or 2 walking the paddock. See you after I get tired of walking about. I sure hope that grandstand isn't there, but I bet it is.
