GokartPilot Well-Known MemberHa, I said the same thing when I did mine. I have never done a radio install that took as long as it did and have as many "gremlins". I am still working out issues, especially with the ASWC-1, thinking about buying a new one just to see if it will matter.
Good luck with the rest of your install, I might hit you up for some info once you have buttoned up.

Well, I definitely have to hook up the battery. The radio isn't keeping it's settings. This means I have to take it all apart again.
Sigh...such is the life of someone who wants decent sound... -
OK, I've finished the install. This really is a bear, but not impossible if you have a little time and know some stuff. I've learned a lot and in a little bit I'll post the complete process with pictures.
In the end I spent about 13 hours total on this project. I'm sure I could do it in 6 now that I know some stuff. Still, I'd block out an entire day for this install.
