Ok, so I bought these coilovers for a great deal, they are used with 6k on them and the rears rebuilt (aka brand new). I have taken out the OEM ones (also replaced the rear sway bar) and before that I measured about 1" all around. Now I am about to install the BCs and I realize, the guy already had them set for a slammed ride (like scrape the subframe slammed). Does anyone know what collar adjustment mimics OEM ride height, so I can adjust for that, then take 1" off? Or would it be better to just raise them to the highest setting then trial and error that (I hate this method). Thanks.

Raise them up then install them.
Drive around a little and see how they settle and then adjust them to the ride hight you want. Take a couple short rides.

I hate this process also but it works best with all different cars and weights.

After you get the right height set then rush to get the alignment done.
