Blah... Airbags :incazzato:
Modern cars have too many Airbags.
People think "I have ABS, Auto Braking, Auto parking and 15 airbags I can drive like an idiot, talk on the phone, read a book behind the wheel and if I get in an accident I will survive and just get another car."

You really want to be careful with this...
Do you know if the two seat heaters have similar resistance values? etc.
If it's sufficiently different, it could blow fuses, freak out your body module, etc.
I got a heated Corbeau, and it's designed to connect to it's own control unit. No way it would work with the factory seat heater controls without some modification.-

The air bag sensor is a different set of wires. I am currently using a resistor to make the car think I still have the airbags. I have not had luck with the emulator I purchased. I have another Recaro coming for the pass side so I need to figure out why to do with the occupancy sensor. Might roll up and zip tie under the seat.

I believe the JCW Recaro seats are just the regular Sportster seat but with wiring and subframe customised to the R56. In order to use them the car has to be coded to accept not having an occupancy sensor in the passenger seat. So once these are installed, your R60 will need to be coded for this - and there's no guarantee that is possible. For example, Coupés and Roadsters cannot be coded to ignore the passenger seat occupancy sensor becasue the JCW Recaro seats have never been an extra for these cars. I don't know which way the R60 goes on this.

Oh yes they can but you have to trick the system with resistors to make the system think the OC3 mat is in the system. :ihih:
Just go to ebay and search for Mini Cooper Seat Occupancy Mat Sensor Airbag Emulator.
I have one on my NON MINI seats and it works great. I have OEM Mitsubishi EVO IX Recaro's in my MINI. -
