    Hey Everyone!

I've decided to put a Cold Air Intake on my R50 for a good sound and a little extra punch, and better throttle response. I'm not expecting miracles, but every little bit helps.

Currently torn between the WAY/DDM CAI from WayMotorWorks and the aFe CAI with the Pro 5 R filter from VAC Motorsports. I live in a moist climate without much dust, so I shouldn't need to clean/oil very frequently. The price points are almost identical and both come well recommended but I can't find a LOT of info on either, really. Both vendors have stellar reputations.

I would love to hear from anyone who has either of these installed on their Cooper, links to any sound clips or videos, or if anyone has had both, I'd love to hear a comparison. Thanks in advance!

Haha, got it, thanks! Do you feel a little more torque compared to stock?

I've been running K&N 57i since god knows when. Clean it every 10k miles or so. No issues.

I am sure that you alredy have one put in, but, I just put in the aFe inmy 2004 R50. No real gains in power but throttle responce is better. The intake is mostly silent under 4000 RPM, but when I put my right foot down - the most pleasing growl from the intake! Love it!

I have the MiniMania (Ultrik) intake which I believe has been discontinued, but I like it.
It uses the stock box, but puts a smoother top on, gets rid of the resonator tube, and
uses a larger diameter tube from the top of the radiator to the box, so it's a higher flow
true cold-air intake. It uses the stock filter size in foam, and I alternate it with a K&N
    betwen cleanings.
