I saw this write up today. I thought the power train they were describing was familiar. "Now, from the "weird little French car" file, we give you the 2013 PGO Automobiles Cévennes speedster. Powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter BMW four-cylinder engine mounted midship, the little roadster serves up a healthy 181 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. The modest muscle gets to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission."
:cornut: Does anyone else see a close resemblance to a 356(? or 956) 'Bucket' Porsche aka James Dean Death Car?(hopefully some nice Geek who knows how to 'post pictures' will post a picture of each side by side.) Jason
:cornut: Yeah DaveO GGP got away from France as soon as he could running away at age 16 to get to the Republic of Texas in ~1844. He always said:"I'm a Texan, I ain't no Frog." Jason
Yes I think it looks like a 356 Porsche. The mirrors are giant compared to the size of the car & the wheels look they were stolen from a Honda Civic. All in all I like it. James Dean's Porsche was a 550 Spyder not a 365. Very different cars. Oh yes & no French parts in the 550. rrr:
:cornut: Start taking Aricept with Viagra such that you can remember what in the (tr)uck you were talking about. Jason
I think it is funny that a French company is distancing themselves from it being a Peugeot engine too.
:cornut: Now who can I get to loan me some money until my hunch back brother straightens up?:lol::lol: I like it Frog or not(I am a frog by decent so I can say that). Jason
