I use home carpet soap 50/50 mix with warm water in a spray bottle with a brush and a wet dry vac. It works very well without soaking the hell out of your carpets.
As for the plastic parts I use the same solution to clean off dirt and dry it with a towel and dress with Prima Nero.-

I have always had good luck with washing the mats, and vacuming the heck out of the carpets...a bit of carpet cleaner...and a wet/dry shop vac to extract for the hard to clean gunk...
I know a detailer who swears that a steamer (liker they sell on TV to clean around the house with a wand) is the best thing for all interior stuff...no chemicals...and can be vacuumed up/out with a good wet/dry shop vac.... saw him make a car look like new...the ground in crap in the interior sidewalls looked new...and the seats had a couple gallons of gray water that was sucked out by the time he was done....one hand to steam...the other to suck....alternating.... -

An easy way to clean carpet floor maps is take them out and spray them down and scrub them and rinse.
If you want to get crazy clean take them to your shower and scrub them in your tub with Hot water and rinse them with a removable shower head holding them against the tile wall. -

Yeah I use my 2600 PSI pressure washer and hang them out in the Sun to dry.
Mine never get that dirty but when I detail others cars that's a different story.:arf:
