2007 mini cooper s hatchback. The windows, ac/heat controls, driving lights.
and cigarette light work intermittently. In the beginning after 15 mins of driving all would come back on. Now it seems after about 45 mins. I brought it to my mechanic and he has been unable to diagnose the problem. He did check with the local dealer and was told to replace the battery which he did.
    The problem still remains.

Has anyone experienced any of these symptoms? Right now we are at a loss.
My mechanic is suggesting we replace the BCU.

I would take it to the dealer and have them check it if you replaced the battery.

    Something is wrong.

Welcome, thanks for joining Motoring Alliance, the FUN and Friendly MINI Community.

Don't just change the Body Control Unit without more diagnosis. Can the shop you used pull any codes? They need more than just a a basic code reader for BMW/MINI to look deeper in the system.
