I've owned my mini cooper 2014 for a few months now and the only thing I've had issues resolving is the intermittent first gear popping out it can go a few days with out doing it it will only do it once then be fine but would love to know if anybody has had this fault and how they fixed it many thanks
Is your car a manual transmission? My 2005 R53 pops out of 2nd gear from time to time when I am coasting and I tap my clutch pedal. This happens as the clutch wears and is getting really close to time to get a clutch replaced.
I've had cars do that in the past (non-MINI). Replaced the worn syncros & all was well. How many miles on your MINI? I'd start by changing the transmission oil. Welcome to M/A Dean.
