I wonder how difficult this was to do.... It would be great if it just bolted up using the existing OEM fastener points... Much improved.... Could be a real sleeper car if the Cooper hood was included in the mod, all on the JCW version... Noticed how MINI was showing some loving to the countries that drive on the wrong side of the street by moving the gas fill door to the wrong side of the MINI...:smile5:
I rent cars every week in the course of working. The majority of those cars have the fuel fill on the right side. As my dad said many times, "we're picking the fly shirt out of the pepper".
That does look good. Quick question based on a conversation from last week...do you consider that F56 "stanced"?
Maybe larger rims filling out the wheel wells... Based on the front bumper, it doesn't looked lowered.... Now the red jack on the side, looks more "stanced" to me...
Assuming it's a direct bolt on replacement I'm sure there will be plenty of Just-a Cooper owners willing to swap to get the S bumper. Same as I did way back when before getting the Aero Kit... and I'd say that car is definitely lowered..
No, that is not stanced. This is stance. Notice how low the car is. The extreme camber on the rear wheels.
I usually think of stance as extreme camber and stretched tires as well, but it is interesting what others consider stanced. Now back to the original topic....why did MINI put the Cooper on the rack and stretch it an extra 8" I mean, why is BMW killing the brand... Or was it how to keep MINI relevant... OK...I don't even remember what the original topic was any more
That front end reminds me of the newer Citroens.... I don't know why so many mfrs have gone to the huge gaping maw look for their front ends, but it's not appealing to me. It can't be for airflow, as most of it is covered up again with that big black bar across the middle.
I will never understand why they didn't just paint that black bar body color, and let it separate the upper and lower grille area.
