    Welcome and thanks for joining. I may be biased (ya thnk!) but this is the best MINI site out there.

    Sorry to hear about the loss of the Clubman, but good on ya for making parting those storm clouds and picking up an Countryman. We'll be looking forward to your thoughts on how it compares with the Clubman.

    :cornut:Welcome! The Countryman that you're getting and its list of options sounds great to me. Just curious, did your Clubman have auto/trans also or manual/trans? It seems that many people these days are opting for auto/trans.

    My Clubman also had an Automatic Transmission. I actually liked it a lot and like the paddle shifters. My other car is an '02 'vette and it's a standard so it's nice to be able to have an option of an automatic when I'll be driving during peak traffic hours. It gets real tired, real fast, driving the 'vette in bumper to bumper traffic...

    I tried tracking it on WW but the VIN wasn't found so I gave up. I didn't think they shipped directly to FL, I thought the closest port they unload them at is GA.

    Took delivery on 2/4/11

    Sorry for the delay, been busy, but took delivery of my Countryman S on 2/4/11 and love it. Definitely feels different than my Clubman S did, but overall, better, but, I have to admit, it doesn't quite have that "go kart" feel to it like the smaller Mini's...
