I do love me some good semaphore! ;)
Reminds me of summers spent baking at the beach watching the life guards communicate up and down the coast. *sigh*
Back on topic: Who's taping the Wildebeast documentary for those of us not on the Dragon?

I was talking to Alex about doing a time-lapse camera on the car. Don't know if we can pull it off, but we're looking into it.

Speaking of DOT approved, here's another piece of homemade safety: the seatbelt bracket, made from 1/4 inch plate steel. It'll do the job.

On a related note, everybody please drive safely to the Dragon. Yesterday I was witness to a fatal car accident. Life's ephemeral: be careful and appreciate every moment.

I stopped in several times and watched this. Very interesting to see how a wrap is done. All it needs now is a machine gun on the roof and a white star on the door. :cornut:

Loved the concept when I saw it in progress, and I love the results. G.I. Joe would be proud!

My only question... how do you plan to deal with rock chips? Is there any sort of relatively stealth way to patch that vinyl if needed?

Wow, I can't believe you ended up with that many matching parts! Or is that what's hiding under the vinyl? :D Looks way cool!

I loved the color as soon as I saw it on Wednesday. It turned out even better than I hoped!
Based on the amount of work I saw going on, I can see why a wrap costs so much!
    Congrats, great, great work!

Yup, it was a ton of work. Thanks to Mike at Aesthetic Creations for the pointers. We didn't get to do all the mechanical and brake work we had hoped to do. We'll finish it here on the weekends. Another thing we didn't get to do was to have RMW, one of the project sponsors, tune it. That'll have to be done next time he's here in Philly.

A BIG THANKS is due to Group 4 for donating one of their splitters to the project. The quality and support were second-to-none. We look forward to installing many Group 4 products in the future.

Also thanks to Chili MINI PA for donating the stone guards and about a gallon of Black Wow--probably the first time in its life that the car has seen a car care product.

I was thinking if I'd have known the color scheme I would have brought a few cans of plastidip and taken care or the head and tail light rings.
