My 4S and iPad 2 took about 8 minutes each without being connected to iTunes, just wifi. Had about 8 apps update on each.

No issues here so far...Work iPhone 4 updated in about 30min, iPad 3 about 15min or so and Allison's iPhone 4s about 15-20min. Just need to get her iPad 2 updated and will be good to go.

So we gain FB and lose YouTube....wtf Apple? Really? And there isn't even a YouTube app yet, ugh...
-
Actually there is a YouTube app. Google released it not too long ago.
-
Since Apple's Maps suck right now, it will take years of crowd sourced information for it get better, you can still use Google Maps.
Use Google Maps via a web browser by going to maps.Google.com .
The first time you load the page, it should ask for permission to use your current location, which is necessary if you want to use the web version of Google Maps. If you turned off the location services for Safari or an alternative browser, you will need to go into Settings/Privacy/Location Services and turn it back on.
To make it easier to access in the future, once the page loads, tap the share icon (the rectangle with the arrow pointing to the right) and click on 'Add to Home Screen' to add the site as an icon on the phone.

My butt keeps recalculating..... Heh Heh.... Need to take a run in the MINI and top up the tank with some 93 Shell... Want to see how it goes with Mapquest talking to me.....

Well, the MapQuest App App Store - MapQuestworks much better than I thought it would. Seems to be very accurate.
I especially like that the voice commands play through the MINI's radio speakers. Durn nice that it's FREE......
