I did my 2.5 year old iPhone 4 last night. Will be upgrading soon but wanted to see how the new OS worked. The install went very well. I agree the apps open slowly but that may be expected with my antique 4...... The look and feel will take some getting used to but overall it's OK.
I updated both the phone and iPad. I like the new way to close apps and I like the 3d look of the lock screen & home screen, but it looks kinda plain, ugly, and cheap when you launch any of the apps. The old notepad looked like a notepad, the new one looks like text on a plain white screen. That must have taken valuable seconds for some overpaid designer to develop....
I updated my 4 iPhone last night. The husband asked me to since he manages his companies phones and "I tend to find any bugs or issues in things"...... Really? At first I didn't like it. But it's growing on me. I find the apps are running faster on it. Will probably update my IPad 2 tonight.
