Does this rig allow for the iPhone to play music via the bluetooth? Ultimately that's where I'd like to go with mine. Wires are so last-century

Jim, we're about the same age - I'm a 49'er myself.....
I'm probably going to do this for my car at some point, but I don't "i" anything....right now I'm running my 'Droid phone on bluetooth thru my Garmin, which will voice dial, voice answer and so on..... -
In my old Subaru I settled for just keeping the iPhone plugged in to the stereo and cigarette lighter, and had a window mount for it. With a bluetooth earpiece, it was just fine as a navigation system, phone, and jukebox. I figure if one gadget can do all that, then one gadget is all I need. I recognize that data caps on most people's phone plans necessitates a separate gadget for navigation, but I'm grandfathered on to a limitless data plan, and plan to make the best of that while it lasts
I was never happy with all the spaghetti hanging all over the place to make the old rig work. What I'd like to do is just get a ProClip mount, and stream the music in to the stereo wirelessly via bluetooth, using the MFSW as a control. I have bluetooth headphones that can do this, so why not the car?
I can live with one short charging wire for longer trips but with the iPhone's battery life, power is rarely an issue. -

You also gotta leave room for eating the donut in there somewhere. -
Heh, mostly I don't talk while driving but it's nice to have the option. It's the navigation and music that the phone is primarily used for. These are convergence devices - the gadget is multi-tasking, not the driver.

The joys of a loud exhaust...
Me: Hello
Them: Nate, you there?
Me: Huh..can't hear ya, damn loud exhaust.
Them: Can ya hear me if I shout...
Me: Can't hear you, cars too loud...call you later.
Now back to the drive
There is an iPod too that is connected with an iPod cable. It lives in the car most of the time and just works. -

I use the old guy ticket as much as I can. I ant't climbing ladders when there are young bucks around. I built it, will point how to set it up, and if they ant't ready for me, I go back to the shop and build more stuff

Zapski;
The model CK 3000 does not stream Bluetooth so I use a 3.5 mm jack plugged into my aux jack I already had.
Parrot has models that will do what you want. They just cost more. -
Thanks!
