The thought crossed my mind! But I would rather just add a massive Master suite off the side of the house, and rent out the 2 other bedrooms when I start making new friends down there...

With the acreage though, I could possably add a couple small vacation rental cabins tucked back in the woods later on though! :)

So many ways to turn a $200K expense into a money maker... ;)

Ok so picture time! I still need to hunt through the camera, but I can pull some off of the other sites. (Keep in mind this paint is HARD to capture on film, it throws the white balance of the camera everywhere, spots blend in, and in most cases the pics don't do it justice... If you where at the Dragon, and saw the mirror I brought, you will know. )

The first time I did the roof:

Taking off just enough of the color base to reveal the rust coats...

Almost done, right before I screwed the whole roof up: :mad2:

Amazing the # of hours of work it takes to reproduce an effect that nature will do for you by leaving the car out in a field for 20 years or so!

I can't wait to see the finished product.

IMHO: That dash needs to be handed over to an old-school pin stripe artist with a few color chips to aim for and instructions to 'go crazy' (something that I seriously considered with my R53 when styling it years ago).

Progress is slow, so I can only post so much... I am pretty much confined to working on it over the weekends, due to my day job. I look foreword to every minute I get with the car though, must be something in the fumes!

Dick you know I am the less is more kind of guy when it comes to graphics so with that out of the way I would not put either on the doors. I like the cool logo so I would put those one them on front and rear without the "Dicks Garage , since 1983" text but that's just me.
Now if you are absolutely going to do the doors I choose the bottom logo.

Oh one more thing you should post up some pics of how nice you car was done in it's "glory days" before the Sprintex took its life with the assistance from Mynes with Bitetronic.

I vote for the bottom one and trust your judgement on this. So far IMO you've made the right decisions with the look!

Bottom... I like the font used better.... The script feels older.... Kind of on the lines of what a pinstripe artist would do by hand...
