Duct tape. There needs to be at least on piece of duct tape on Isobell. Interior, on the seat, visor, whatever. It should be the very last thing to go on the car. When you put up a picture of the ratrod properly duct taped, then we'll know it's officially done, or at least running.

Yup it's a Colorado torist attraction.

Because that's what happenes when you run a Sprintex with Bytronic FA tuning software. Your car blows up and sits in a garage so people can come and see what it looks like.

It's now known as the RatRod Sculpture.:lol::lol::lol:

You guys need to quick picking on Dick. Like a rusty bottle of fine wine, you can't rush automotive perfection.

I think after I get the car back up on stands this weekend, I will finish my intake... Just need to build the lid.

It gives me something to do. :)

FWIW, I loved my slushbox. Or, more accurately, I loved effortless paddle shifting.
I find the manual to be kinda going backward from an evolutionary context. A necessary evil, since I can't afford a sequential. :cornut:

I'm not grumpy...older, yes, though. My time in an R53 with a 6-speed stick shift is done but I am happy with the automatics my Ses have. One is my wife's daily driver and is unmodded. The other...mine...IS modded and has seen the Dragon a lot of times over the years as well as many 2-day HPDEs with BMW CCA. I can't complain at all, and I will not.

In traffic I'll take the auto anyday. Actually today's +/- paddle/stick shifting is pretty good. The 2013 Accent I drive shifts really quick shifting compared to the auto's of yester year. Of course I'd like a sequential box for the Mini but that's $$$$$$$$$$

Meanwhile I'll fight on with the Midlands

The last set went about 5K miles, and still have a smidge of rubber left on the insides...

Hoosier's are cheaper, but no DOT number, so if a cop on a power trip pulls me over, it would be one more thing for them to B**** about.

Hey Narvarr, I say I let you switch houses with me until summer starts up. You can get all your nostalgia of CO back. ;) Plus now you can do it while smoking pot and eating brownies. "Memory Enhancers" I hear.
