I saw a rat rod yesterday with a rusty 4" hole cut in the door. The guy installed glass on the inside, so you could watch the window winding mechanism. I have a vision of a porthole cut into Isobell's driver's door, so people can watch your deft footwork on the pedals.

Dave.0 Helix & RMW PoweredLifetime SupporterMINI has just released this color as a limited color for the new Great MINI F56 so you car will no longer be unique. :nonod:
Also they plan on suing you for stealing the color from them even though you created it first because they can spend 5 million on lawyers. -
Dave.0 Helix & RMW PoweredLifetime SupporterWhat's a few thousand for a New MINI owner as long as the paint job is covered under warranty. :ihih::lol:

Yep, I did 3 years active infantry in the 101st, got out fora year and a half before I got a recall letter that I was getting pulled back in. Only way around it was to join the reserves. So I did, and 8 years of that and now Im out for good.

GokartPilot Well-Known MemberThanks for your service.
The draw down is forcing or giving an opportunity for individuals to get out. Hell they are giving bonuses to voluntarily seperate before your EAS, my son-in-law jumped on it, don’t understand it but hey… -

Copy that MF. Can't say I blame you. It's a whole different ballgame from when I was in. (66-88) We were disrespected by the civilian populace, but you guys are getting it from our civilian leaders. These days I would probably make the same decision as you.
As an aside, I wish I had a buck for everyone that tells me they wish they had stayed in because they could have retired years ago. I would be flush for cold beer for the next year or so. :biggrin5:
Thanks for your service in a very difficult time. -
No question about it, thanks!

Yep me too. I did 22 years, and it was time to go... That was back in 2006. I'm glad I did it, but I have watched "as a contractor" the last 8 years, and it sure has changed. When you have more people than jobs, it is easy for policy makers to not care about the individual.

GokartPilot Well-Known MemberI heard the same thing, glad I did but there were a few times I was ready to walk.
