Seen it once. Pretty cool show... Done for the weekend, back to work tomorrow morning. Next weekend, I will be doing a double RSB swap... H-Sport Comp bar on Erik's 2010 JCW, and his JCW bar on Teresa's Justa-Coupe. Weekend after that is my last 3 days in the army! I will still get some stuff done/touched up during the week days after work, but not much.
I can't wait to see it. I have never see a rat car before your project. I can really appreciate the thought and work that is going into Isobell.
I keep cross posting ideas to Dick's FB, he appears to have seen them all. I like where this is going, kinda curious what you plan for engine mods for the new lump sitting next to the project? Don
I might find a spot for a cow bell just for you Dave... Erik you will see it this weekend, if you are still coming over! Don, the engine I bought to temporarily use has some pretty high milage, so it will be staying stock as possible... The rebuild of the original however... 1.8, Jesus, lopey bump stick, TVS, and some pretty custom stuff... Thats all I am saying for now.
Dick, that ghost image was really bugging me, so I blew it up as much as I could. An old girlfriend of yours, perhaps? :eek6:
That is a pretty good resemblance.. However the girl the car is named after was a blonde... And never really smiled toward the end.
No bells, no oysters.... Dick, thanks for the engine update, it will be fun to watch and listen too. I did not know the lump was a 'lump', If it is a good block, it could be modded as well. You figure 3 years for the engine build and you will be ready for MTTS for sure with the lump? Don
The built motor is still a ways out... After the paint is done, and it runs again, the stockpiling of engine internals will begin! With a price tag higher than blue book for the car its going to take some time, but it will be well worth the cost and time.
