Thanks! I said it would just add to the look, and it does... It also gives something to focus on to get some decent pics without the white balance of the camera being all screwed up. I do have a few more stencils being made for the last remaining parts I will be painting, but until its done, I'm not telling...
I was actually able to get some good-ish pics with my old camera today... I will try to get them up over the weekend after they are edited. They have possibly the best lighting I have found so far. All it took was to be surrounded with storm clouds! Even some 4" closeups of the rust spots... And no not all the rust is the same color on the car! It actually varies from panel to panel... Thats what you get when you custom mix paint/toner/flake/dry pearl/dry candies in your garage. A few post touchup cellie telle teasers... (Sorry Crap-a-Talk automatically resizes them making the pic look like a bucket of poo!)
Still coming over for sway bars this weekend right? It will be here... Cant really go anywhere else at the moment.
Not those ones, they don't really fit the theme of the car anymore. You will see the ones I am going to tomorrow... Everybody else (minus a select few) has to wait! Cant tell all my secrets yet.
Nope. They are a old style wheel that will fit the car perfect. Just cant decide if I want to paint them or not though.
Don't paint the ones you showed me. They look good and add a little touch of bling / contrast but not too much.
If I do the red wheels... I might see what one of the custom Harley Davidson shops here in town can do with a set of 225/45/15 Nitto NT-01's...
The Harley shops have a rubber decal they do white walls with. They need to be heated on, but its permanent and doesn't discolor or crack like the paints. If they can get them for a 15" wheel... I see no problem.
