Absolutely not. I agree with you there. If it's really cold or wet, I run street tires on the track. You really have to get heat in the Nitto's, it takes me a couple of laps until they get sticky. You can get the Nittos hot enough on the dragon, but everywhere else it's a waste of tire. I'd either bring two sets of tires or just bring street tire, in fact next year if I get down there it'll be on my 16 inch Azenis, not my 15 Nittos.
Hahaha. Blaze it up! 420! Speaking of which, on some Interstate here, they got rid of the 420 mile marker sign and replaced it with 419.99 because people kept stealing it. Honestly, I'd rather steal the 419.99 one. That one's at least got a story. Haha. Oh, and sorry to disappoint, Dave, but I don't smoke pot... Or eat brownies. But I can tell you that almost everyone else I work with does. Lol. EDIT: It was I-70
Here's a couple pre Dragon teaser pic's... Caught Joe @ Sleek Motoring catching a pic... :beer Then a couple from today at Red Rocks park... Way too much traffic to get an updated tunnel shot. :cryin: That's all for today, I will edit and get some more up as I have time.
My wonderful brother in law was nice enough to change the display settings on the house computer again, so the color is pretty screwed up on those pics! The last one does look sweet though. I will get some others up tomorrow.
Man, like I texted you, I've always thought Isobell was an ugly duckling, but the finished product looks so good.... :drool I was at Red Rocks on the 11th! Thought about taking the obligatory "Colorado sports-car-owner-Red-Rocks-Tunnel-pic" but I didn't have my camera on me.... Really looking forward to seeing this in person.
What size Azenis are you driving? I went to the Dragon on 15"s with mine 3 years ago and they were toast when I got back home. I got Nitto NeoGens and still have them, although they are getting thin now.
Still no beer stickers from anybody! Cait is starting to get lonely being the only one on the headliner!
I told you, sir. The 19th. I'll actually make a run down there right now to see if they have stickers. Joni needs to stretch her legs.
What car I drive on the club run on the 19th is now weather dependent... Isobell is a dry weather only car.
Well, either way, I got your sticker and I put it in my glovebox for safe-keeping. If Isobell doesn't make it, I may stalk you home to see her.
Nope, still dont have a magnet sheet to cover the hole in the hood for the intake, and with as uncivilized as the suspension can be when its dry is enough without adding water. Granted I am bringing it to the Dragon, and it ALWAYS rains at least one day of the dragon, but I avoid the rain at all costs!
