That's probably true, but one thing I've never seen done before is taking the offensive post and simply moving it to the "playground"; that could work--something starts getting nasty, just move the nasty stuff to a mirrored thread in the playground, and keep the clean thread in the regular forums. That way new people aren't scared off, the nasty stuff gets its own place, everyone is happy. I don't think it would seriously be that many threads. It would probably be more work than its worth, but its an idea that could work.

 

OK, let me see if I understand what you have been trying to say cct1.

A) Only hard core, performance modders, are real MINI owners.

B) Everyone should put up with rude, loud mouths.

As for A: Seriously, nowhere did I say that. I have no idea where you are getting that from.

As for B: I didn't say put up with them. I said put the ear plugs in if it bothers you. There's a difference between ignoring and putting up with.

 

I hate to admit it, but we've totally gotten hooked on Downton Abbey, downloaded all of them and we're almost caught up.

I'm officially old now.

Oh, and Nate, I have a great idea for an emoticon, but maybe it's already been done--a "Talk to the Hand" emoticon. Put that puppy up when you're annoyed, but without any response behind it, and many of these issues die on the vine.
